Powers Lake has an abundance of recreational opportunities.

Fish including northern pike, walleye, perch and blue gills can be found in many small lakes and reservoir in the area.

Grouse, pheasant, partridge, ducks and geese can be found in abundance for hunting enthusists. As well as white-tail, moose and mule deer. Smaller animals such as coyote, fox, beavers can also be found.

Powers Lake has it's own golf course.

There are two beautiful groomed parks in Powers Lake with picnic areas, basketball and tennis courts.
